Honeybee Blooms is more than a floral business—it’s a love story between flowers, family, and the unexpected joys life brings. My passion for flowers was nurtured early on by my grandmother, Isa. Together, we spent countless spring and summer days in her garden. But it wasn’t just any garden. It was an art installation filled with roses—red, always red. Little did I know, those vibrant days would become the foundation of my business.

In May 2015, my world changed forever with an unexpected breast cancer diagnosis. It was during this challenging time that I truly discovered the transformative power of flowers. On my first day of chemo, a small bouquet arrived, lifting my spirits in a way I never anticipated. By my last chemo session, the healing energy of flowers became undeniable as two fellow survivors showered me with blossoms at the clinic, and when I arrived home, I was greeted by a cascade of flowers that filled my space with love and hope. The beauty and comfort they brought me was a constant reminder of resilience and joy in the midst of uncertainty.
Fast forward to October 2021, when my life changed again with the arrival of my four-legged partner in crime, Honeybee. I met her during one of the city’s long COVID lockdowns while living in San Francisco. Timid and unsure of the world, she chose me, and in that instant, we became inseparable. As the city slowly reopened, our Saturday routine was born: a stroll to the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market from my North Beach apartment, where I would lug home armfuls of flowers to craft arrangements that filled each room. Honeybee was by my side every step of the way, never straying far as we shared in these quiet moments of beauty.
When we moved to Oregon, I searched for a floral delivery service that offered premium, local, and seasonal blooms at an affordable price but came up empty. That’s when Honeybee Blooms was born. We highlight the best of the Pacific Northwest’s local farms, offering bespoke arrangements and bloom boxes delivered straight to your door, all while making flowers accessible, fresh, and sustainable.
